In order to popularise the knowledge and skills of emergency rescue and improve the employees' ability to save themselves and each other in response to emergencies, on Aug 8, 2024, our company---Zhuzhou Jinggong Cemented Carbide Co., Ltd. specially invited a team of medical and nursing experts from Hunan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine on 8 August to carry out a professional and practical first aid knowledge and skills training activity for the employees.
The training was taught by medical experts and focused mainly on the two most important first aid skills: cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillation (AED). The training adopted a combination of theoretical and practical teaching methods, covering not only the operational procedures and key considerations for each skill, but also the opportunity to conduct practical exercises under the guidance of healthcare experts. This session ensured that employees were able to transform theoretical knowledge into practical operational capabilities, thus providing effective first aid measures in emergency situations.
Through this training, our company further improved the first aid knowledge and skills of the staff, mastered the necessary safety rescue knowledge, enhanced the ability to correctly rescue in emergency situations, and created a good atmosphere of ‘everyone knows first aid, everyone knows first aid’. It shows that the company attaches great importance to the life safety and health of employees, and makes positive contribution to creating a safe and healthy working environment.
